About the role

We are currently looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and innovative professional to take on the role of Director of Food & Beverage.

The Director of Food & Beverage will be a member of the Hotel’s Planning Committee and will oversee the entire division, including our restaurants, kitchens, stewarding, bar, and in-room dining operations.

 

What you will do

  • Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the F&B Division
  • Participate in the development of the team through personalized monitoring of each member of his or her team and by proposing training actions to improve individual performance
  • Work closely with the General Management, Chefs and Beverage Leaders to design the menus, offerings and corporate activations
  • Concentrate efforts on maximizing the Department’s profit and controlling costs
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit
  • Build effective relationships with all key stakeholders and create an environment that supports collaboration and involvement

 

What you bring

  • Proven experience in leading Food & Beverage operations within a 5*luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • A leadership style that is authentic, engaging and strategic, based on identified business priorities
  • Creativity and passion for delivering innovative culinary and service experiences that reflect the brand’s standards.
  • Ability to balance guest satisfaction with team engagement, fostering an environment where both guests and employees feel genuinely cared for.
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English & Italian
