Purchasing Manager

The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton  is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team!

This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools, a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids, and 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Savor stunning views, delicious dining options, and endless sunshine in Hollywood, Florida. Our 5+ team members report to the Director of Purchasing.

The ideal candidate holds 2+ years experience in a supervisory or management role within hotel purchasing/receiving. Prior Food & Beverage experience a plus! Experience working in larger hotels preferred.

Shift Pattern: Full Availability – Monday-Saturday between the hours of 6AM-7PM

What will I be doing?

• Plans, organizes, and inventories general merchandise items.
• Communicates with Chef and management relative to purchases consistent with hotel needs and specifications.
• Negotiates pricing and purchase goods and ensure delivery in a timely manner.
• Review shipments to ensure products received are consistent with orders and proper grade and quality.
• Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
