About The Role:
As a General Mechanic, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems within a building. Your expertise enables you to execute preventative maintenance tasks, carry out repairs when necessary, and provide valuable recommendations for further repairs or improvements.
Your responsibilities extend beyond just the systems – you are also responsible for maintaining all building components and ensuring the functionality of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. By diligently performing your duties, you contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of the facility.
In situations where expertise beyond your scope is required, you utilize your knowledge to assess if an outside contractor is needed. This ensures that specialized tasks are handled by professionals who can efficiently address complex issues.
As a General Mechanic cannot be overstated. By proactively addressing maintenance needs and swiftly responding to repair requirements, you help maintain a comfortable environment for all occupants while safeguarding valuable assets.
