Receiving Clerk

Nestled in the heart of the Short North Arts District, connected to the Greater Columbus Convention Center, our hotel boasts two towers with 1,000 guest rooms, 75,000 square feet of event space and several unique dining experiences.

The Purchasing Team at the Hilton Columbus Downtown is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk (Part-Time) to work at our award-winning property. Bring your talents to the table in a creative, dynamic atmosphere, with teammates that share the same passion for hospitality!

What will I be doing?

A Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing all purchase orders and invoices. Assists in daily receiving of deliveries from vendors and deliveries to kitchens as well as other areas of the hotel. Maintains an accurate inventory with the food and beverage supervisors, assists with keeping up cleanliness and organization of storeroom areas.

  • Process deliveries in a timely manner with full attention to detail and abiding by receiving procedures.
  • Maintain backstock area and cooler.
  • Ensure all refrigerated items are stocked or properly stored/ hold.
  • Maintain receiving area in a neat, clean, organized and safe manner.
  • Effectively communicate with Team Members regarding receiving and department operations.
