Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Receiving

Ensure all goods received are stamped, signed with date of receipt that the goods were delivered on the invoice and bill of lading maintaining evidence that goods were received.

Verify deliveries against packing slip, purchase orders and report discrepancies or damage to the Accounting Supervisor immediately.

· Account for incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports.

· Ensure all goods received are also checked (signed and dated) by the departments and/ or storeroom agent initiating the purchase as acknowledgement of receipt of the goods from the receiving department.

· Ensure receiving logs and system records (Birchstreet/ (Hotshop) are updated and maintained upon receipt of goods.

· Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver or expedite merchandise to appropriate department.

· Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure accuracy.

· Ensure security of merchandise not immediately delivered to departments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
