The Hilton Houston Post Oak by the Galleria provides cooks the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both à la carte and large-scale production in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.

Shift Pattern: AM, weekends, and holidays.
The ideal Cook I candidate brings at least one year of professional kitchen experience or a culinary degree, along with strong foundational knife skills and a passion for quality and consistency. This role supports both Java Jive and the employee cafeteria, making it a great opportunity for someone eager to gain well-rounded, high-volume experience in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for an early riser with flexible AM availability who takes pride in their work, maintains a positive attitude, and is motivated to learn and grow. This position is perfect for someone looking to expand their skill set and be cross-trained across multiple outlets within the hotel’s culinary operation.
What will I be doing?
As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability.
