At the Fénix Gran Meliá hotel, we are looking for a receptionist capable of offering an exceptional welcome and farewell experience to guests, guaranteeing a personalized, elegant and efficient service, aligned with the quality and excellence standards of the Gran Meliá brand and Leading Hotels Of the World.

 

Main mission

 

  • To attend to guests in a professional, friendly and personalized manner during check-in, stay and check-out.
  • Manage reservations, modifications and cancellations through the hotel management system.
  • Provide detailed information about hotel services, schedules, events and experiences both internal and external.
  • Resolve incidents, complaints, and special requests with a proactive approach focused on guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Guest Experience, Concierge, Bell Desk, etc.) to ensure a flawless stay.
  • Manage the collection of stays, invoicing and cash closings according to established procedures.
  • Apply the quality, image and protocol standards of Gran Meliá.
  • Comply with the hotel’s safety regulations, data protection policies, and internal policies.
  • Promote additional hotel services (up-selling and cross-selling) when appropriate.

 

What are we looking for in you?

Training

 

  • Training in tourism, hospitality or similar (valued).

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in reception positions in 5 star or luxury hotels (experience in international chains is a plus).

 

Languages

 

  • Spanish and English at a high level are essential.
  • Other languages ​​will be considered (French, Italian, German, Portuguese, etc.).

 

Skills and abilities

 

  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Elegant, professional and empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
