Job Description

 

  • Oversee all hotel operations during the night as the manager on duty
  • Manage night audit process, including financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Handle front desk operations: check ins, check outs, guest requests, and complaints
  • Ensure accuracy of all postings, room rates, and accounts in Opera
  • Conduct regular security walks and ensure safety of guests, staff, and property
  • Perform light cleaning and ensure public areas are well maintained
  • Assist with guest needs, including luggage and late arrivals
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Prepare reports and ensure a smooth handover to the morning team
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any discrepancies or concerns
  • Support the front desk team with administrative tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications

 

-Previous experience in hotel front office operations, ideally as Night Auditor or similar

-Strong knowledge of Opera PMS and hotel systems advantageous

-Good computer skills, including Excel and general system use

-Strong attention to detail, especially with financial reconciliation

-Strong problem solving and decision making skills

-Ability to work independently and make decisions during overnight shifts

-Good time management and ability to multitask

-Flexible with overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays

-Physically capable of completing light cleaning and porter duties Reliable, responsible, and security aware mindset
