Residential Door & Valet Attendant

The PM and Overnight Residential Door & Valet Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional, anticipatory service to residential owners and their guests, ensuring a seamless, secure, and welcoming arrival and departure experience at all times. This position is designated for PM and overnight shifts, providing continuous, high-level service and operational support throughout evening and overnight hours. The role maintains a professional presence at the front drive and porte cochere, oversees the safe and efficient handling of vehicles and luggage, and upholds the highest standards of discretion, privacy, and luxury residential service.

Reporting directly to the Residences Manager, this position plays a key role in creating a positive first and last impression of the property. Responsibilities include coordinating closely with Concierge, Lifestyle Ambassadors, Housekeeping and Facilities to ensure all resident requests—such as arrivals, departures, package handling, and general service needs—are executed seamlessly. The attendant is expected to proactively anticipate resident preferences, communicate effectively across departments, and ensure accurate and timely follow-up on all requests and concerns.

This role requires maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the porte cochere, driveway, and surrounding public areas, as well as ensuring all equipment and workspaces are organized and in proper working condition. The attendant must confidently operate communication tools, including two-way radios and property management systems, to coordinate vehicle retrievals and respond promptly to resident inquiries. Additional responsibilities include arranging transportation services, storing and retrieving luggage and packages, and supporting special assignments or operational needs as directed by management.

A strong commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols is essential, including the secure handling of vehicle keys, ensuring vehicles are properly parked and locked, and maintaining awareness of all activity within the front drive area. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent time management, professionalism in all forms of communication, and the flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands. A valid California driver’s license is required, along with the ability to safely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles.
