Night Manager

Your daily duties will include:

• Lead the Night team, ensuring that brand standards are upheld and guest expectations are consistently exceeded during overnight hours.
• Promptly handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring they are addressed to the highest standard.
• Manage any over night management issues or emergencies, documenting and resolving them as needed.
• Address Maintenance and Housekeeping concerns that arise after business hours, ensuring swift resolution.
• Conduct quality checks on Reservations and manage inventory during the night shift.
• Perform night audit duties, including reconciliations, balancing, and verifying the accuracy of daily financial transactions and reports.
• Ensure the Night team maintains a professional demeanor and is informed of VIP guest movements, hotel events, and local attractions.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership front office role in a similar sized hotel
• Fluent in the English and able to communicate professionally with guests and team members, both in person and over the telephone
• Excellent leadership, inter-personal, training and development skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
• Well-presented, organised and calm personality
• High level of IT skills, including Excel and Word
