Financial Controller

We’re looking for an experienced and analytically-minded Financial Controller to join our organization in Chennai, India. In this pivotal leadership role, you will partner closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to drive financial excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and influence strategic decision-making across the organization. • Lead all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance activities in accordance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and local regulatory requirements
• Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making by senior leadership
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management functions, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency
• Manage and optimize financial processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Support capital expenditure planning, investment initiatives, and financial feasibility assessments for organizational projects
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, building capability, driving accountability, and fostering professional growth
• Ensure compliance with GST, income tax, and other statutory obligations specific to Indian operations
• Prepare and present financial statements, variance analyses, and performance metrics to stakeholders with clarity and transparency
• Collaborate with department heads to develop realistic budgets and monitor performance against established targets
