The team of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:

Chef de Partie – Pastry

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing our high quality desserts, pastries, tarts, petit fours and chocolates to the satisfaction of our guests
  • Preparation for the Mise en Place
  • participation in the introduction of new bakery products and desserts and their presentations together with our Pastry Chef
  • responsibility for a smooth organizational and work flow in our Pastry in absence of our Pastry Chef
  • Receiving and checking incoming orders
  • Proper storage of all food and raw materials in the designated storage rooms, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene (HACCP)
  • Ensuring compliance with all The Ritz-Carlton standards in the pastry

 

Your Qualifications:

  • A successfully finished vocational training as a chef or a confectioner
  • experience in the pastry
  • High professional competence and creativity
  • Autonomous and independent way of working
  • Quality consciousness and enthusiasm
  • Good knowledge of English, German is advantageous
