Mechanical Technician

The Role

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the continuous operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of the property’s mechanical assets. You will work closely with the engineering team to minimize downtime, respond swiftly to maintenance requests, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards

What you will be doing:

• Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, system malfunctions, and plumbing breakdowns efficiently to minimize disruption to guest areas and hotel operations.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts inventory, and daily equipment performance logs.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests from guest relations and other departments with a professional, service-oriented mindset.

Skills & Qualification

• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• A logical approach to troubleshooting complex mechanical systems under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional hotel teams and communicate clearly with external vendors.
• Technical diploma, vocational certification, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a mechanical technician, ideally within a 5-star hotel or complex facility management environment.
