About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Canouan, within the Finance Department, the Accounts Payable colleague works closely with the Finance Manager to support the implementation and maintenance of effective internal control systems for income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities across the hotel and residences. The Accounts Payable colleague reports directly to the Finance Manager.

As Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to suppliers for goods and services rendered.
• Knowledge of the process of receiving and processing invoices within the Hotel and operating within this system accurately and efficiently.
• Statements and supplier accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Ensure that when paying suppliers, all invoices have full supporting backup, such as purchase orders, delivery notes, authorisation, etc.
• Maintain a tidy, efficient filing system for all invoices, payments, and reports.
• Keep an accurate and up-to-date record/log of invoices.
