About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris the IT Assistant reports directly to the IT Manager and IT Director.

As IT Assistant you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • IT Asset Management: Ensure regular maintenance, perform software updates, and manage the installation of hardware and software.
  • System and Network Administration: Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure and servers.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • User Training and Support: Assist and train users on IT tools and respond to their daily technical needs.
  • IT Security Compliance: Monitor and enforce the company’s IT security policies to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
  • Data Protection and Confidentiality: Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and control access rights.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date records of hardware and software assets across the IT infrastructure.
  • Technology Watch: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to optimize systems and services.

As IT Assistant we expect from you:

  • Fluency in English and French, a third language would be appreciated
  • A significant experience in the parisian luxury hospitality industry—ideally a minimum of 3 years
