Senior Events Sales Manager

Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen is looking for a Senior Events Sales Manager to join our Events Sales team.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Sales & Marketing Division in Shenzhen, the Senior Events Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the catering target set for the conference & banquet market in the marketing plan. The Senior Events Sales Manager reports to the Director of Events Sales.

 

As Senior Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist in the establishment of a meeting and conference sales administration, client history and tracing system within the Sales & Marketing
  • Conduct regular sales activities to professional conference organizers, corporate meeting planners, wedding planners and relevant associations
  • Conduct site inspections for and entertain existing or prospective meeting and conference influences, decision-makers, wedding planners, and end users
  • Issue BEO and/or Group Resume and coordinate closely with and provide detailed information to the relevant operations in order to enable the operations to “look after” the client effectively while the event is in-house
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head
  • Promptly sharing leads on corporate FIT and travel trade business with relevant members of the corporate and travel sales team
  • Submit sales production and lost business reports. Provide feedback on relevant trends, competitor pricing, creative concepts and any other information
