Rixos Phu Quoc Viet Nam is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Mini Bar Attendant to support Room Service operations by ensuring minibar amenities are accurately replenished, well-presented, and compliant with brand standards. Reporting to the Room Service Supervisor / Manager, this role contributes to guest satisfaction through efficiency, discretion, and adherence to Rixos luxury service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Mini Bar Operations
- Replenish, check, and clear minibar items in guest rooms according to established procedures.
- Ensure no expired items are placed in guest rooms and all products meet quality standards.
- Prepare mise-en-place to support 24-hour service requirements.
- Conduct proper shift handovers and maintain accurate occupancy-related documentation.
Guest Service & Communication
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and discreet relationship with in-house guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries related to minibar and Room Service offerings.
- Handle guest concerns according to guidelines or escalate to the Room Service Manager when required.
- Answer Room Service telephones when assigned.
Standards, Hygiene & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP standards, food safety regulations, and hotel policies.
- Adhere to Rixos ISO Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, 10002).
- Report cleanliness, hygiene, or maintenance issues immediately to supervisors.
- Follow all health, safety, and security procedures, including entering guest rooms.
Teamwork & Professional Conduct
- Work closely with Room Service, Guest Relations, Front Office, and other service departments.
- Attend departmental briefings, trainings, and contribute to open team communication.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming, and professionalism at all times.
- Support other hotel departments when operational needs require.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in a 4–5 star hotel or resort are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of Room Service operations and minibar procedures is an advantage.
