  As Assistant Chief Engineer , you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To directly supervise Senior Engineers, Duty Engineers, to read the daily engineering log book and to take the necessary action.
• To assist Director of Engineering in the implementation of a fully comprehensive maintenance programme.
• To ensure that the records of equipment card system are kept up-to-date.
• To monitor and control the work request/order distribution and arrangement to ensure that the routine and special work requests/orders are completed in time and arranged properly.
• To spot check to ensure that the work as detailed in the maintenance order has been executed in the most practical, skilful and economical manner.
• To report to Director of Engineering immediately in any unusual events occurred, whether it is in respect of the engineering operation – physical plant or personnel.
• To analyse and prepare on a monthly basis the heat, light and power consumption figures for submission to Director of Engineering and make recommendations in respect of changes in plant or system that may result in conserving energy.
