Account Receivable

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Report complaints and operational problems to the Purchasing Manager and provide solutions.
• Receive, inspect, and verify goods against purchase orders, invoices, specifications, quantity, price, and quality.
• Properly store, price, rotate, and organize all incoming goods according to inventory needs.
• Update the purchasing/inventory system and prepare daily receiving reports.
• Ensure store requisitions are properly approved and delivered to the correct departments.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories as required.
• Inspect food quality upon receiving and coordinate with the Executive Chef when necessary.
• Receive specialty items such as engineering, retail, spa, and flower supplies.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized storage areas and equipment.
• Maintain professional relationships and business integrity with suppliers and delivery personnel.
• Follow safety, security, hygiene, and guest privacy procedures.

Attend required meetings and training and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications 

To execute the position of Assistant Clerk, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• Diploma or equivalent in Finance or Accounting and professional accounting body certification. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Technical skills include advanced MS Office, Outlook platforms and Materials Control (MC), plus able to operate 10-key calculators and to perform calculations. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms.
• Fluent in English; I understand that Arabic languages are preferred.
• Insert visa/work permit requirements
• Insert certification required by law if any e.g covid vaccination
