Account Executive

As part of the Hilton Direct EMEA team, the Account Executive will play a crucial role in driving business growth and client satisfaction within the HWS office. This dual-focused position involves managing meeting opportunities for an assigned portfolio of clients, enhancing productivity and business outcomes with strategic support from the Manager. Additionally, the Account Executive will focus on new account development, identifying and securing new business opportunities, building robust client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth through the acquisition of new accounts. This role is integral to the success of Hilton Direct’s overall strategy and requires a proactive, results-driven approach to both client management and business development.

Position Summary: 

The Account Executive, part of the Hilton Direct EMEA team, will drive business growth and client satisfaction within the HWS office. This role involves spending roughly 50% of their time managing meeting opportunities for assigned clients and 50% focusing on new account development. The Account Executive will identify and secure new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth. This position is crucial to Hilton Direct’s overall strategy and requires a proactive, results-driven approach to client management and business development.

What are we looking for?

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships and partnerships with key accounts, enhancing client awareness of key regions and hotels.
  • Establish Meeting Needs: Identify and qualify client meeting needs, presenting suitable solutions and proposals to convert opportunities into transactions.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between accounts and hotels, sharing brand knowledge with clients and client insights with hotels.
  • Documentation: Document business opportunity developments within relevant systems, with support from the Group Sales Support role.
  • Professional Representation: Present Hilton Worldwide hotels professionally to negotiating partners, in line with Hilton’s values.
  • Revenue Goals: Achieve agreed goals and deliver incremental revenue for all Hilton Worldwide hotels.
  • Performance Assessment: Assess actual performance against targets.
  • Policy Enforcement: Enforce policies and procedures to improve overall operations and effectiveness.
  • Proposal and Contract Validation: Ensure proposals and contracts negotiated with customers are checked and validated.
  • Sales Promotion Communication: Support accurate communication of sales promotions and information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Administrative Coordination: Coordinate required administrative work, including reporting figures.
  • Industry Participation: Participate in industry events and represent Hilton Worldwide at trade fairs and workshops, as agreed by the line manager.
  • Documentation and Training: Update manuals and other department-related documents; support training for new team members.
  • ROI Measurement: Adhere to ROI measurements to ensure overall effectiveness.
  • Compliance: Comply with all policies, systems, and procedures as laid down by Hilton Direct.
  • Business Development: Identify and target potential new accounts with business for international markets.
  • Venue Sourcing: Provide venue sourcing and convert group opportunities from un-managed accounts referred by hotels or HWS colleagues.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new business.
