Job Description
- Execute painting projects in various areas of the facility, including public spaces, guest rooms, and exterior surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results and maintain consistency across projects
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers with precision and efficiency
- Perform touch-ups and repairs on existing painted surfaces
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper care of painting tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate painting schedules and minimize disruptions
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of painting materials and equipment
- Respond promptly to painting-related requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Contribute to the development of innovative painting techniques and solutions to improve overall quality and efficiency
- Participate in regular maintenance checks to identify areas requiring touch-ups or repainting
- Assist in inventory management of paint supplies and materials
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting
- Proficiency in various painting techniques, including color mixing, application methods, and surface preparation
- Extensive knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and their appropriate uses
- Experience with timber treatments and specialty coating applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, consistent results
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
