ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth Street is seeking a reliable Part-time Cook to join our energetic kitchen team.

• Prepare and maintain all required mise en place to ensure efficient kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment while consistently meeting high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Follow stock rotation procedures and minimise food wastage through effective inventory management practices.
• Ensure designated kitchen areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Clean, maintain, and monitor kitchen equipment, promptly reporting any faults or maintenance issues to the Executive Chef.
• Receive and check deliveries, unpack produce, and store stock appropriately in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Perform general kitchen cleaning and housekeeping duties to support a safe and organised workplace.

• Trade qualification or pursuing one in Cookery – Certificate III and above.
• Passion for cooking and a genuine interest in building a career within the culinary industry.
• Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational requirements.
