Located in the heart of Birmingham city centre, just moments from New Street Station, ibis Birmingham New Street Station hotel welcomes guests from around the world. We’re looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-focused Reception Team Member to join our team. This is a full-time role with a salary of up to £12.71 per hour plus benefits.

You’ll likely be the first person our guests meet so you’ll need to create great first impressions, deliver excellent service and help ensure they enjoy a smooth and welcoming stay.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
• Handle reservations, enquiries and guest requests
• Process payments and maintain accurate records
• Promote hotel services and facilities
• Resolve guest queries efficiently and professionally
• Work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience

What we’re looking for

• A friendly and approachable personality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using computers and hotel systems
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is beneficial
