Company Description

At Accor, we believe in creating meaningful experiences and vibrant workplaces where people feel welcome and valued. As one of the world’s leading hospitality groups, Accor is home to over 5,000 properties across 110 countries, united by a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and our signature Heartist culture.

At Sydney Olympic Park, our precinct brings together three iconic brands, Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis. Each offering a distinct guest experience while sharing a unified team spirit. Whether it’s the upscale sophistication of Pullman, the modern comfort of Novotel, or the smart simplicity of Ibis, our hotels work together to deliver exceptional service in one of Sydney’s most dynamic and event-rich locations.

As part of this precinct, you’ll be joining a collaborative, high-energy team that thrives on diversity, creativity, and genuine connection. We’re proud to be part of a global network while maintaining a strong local identity, where every team member is empowered to grow, contribute, and make a difference.

Job Description

Are you organised, hands-on, and enjoy keeping things running behind the scenes? We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Stores Officer to join our team and play a key role in supporting the day to day operations of our Hotels. Working closely with the Stores Manager, you’ll help ensure our departments have the supplies they need, stock is accurately received and stored, and our inventory systems remain organised and up to date. This is a physically active role, so you’ll be comfortable lifting, carrying, moving stock, pushing and pulling trolleys, and working on your feet throughout the day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing goods in line with approved purchase orders and FIFO principles.
  • Distributing stock and supplies to departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conducting temperature checks on incoming goods and completing daily storage and compliance checklists.
  • Monitoring outstanding purchase orders and assisting with inventory control through PurchasePlus.
  • Processing invoices and following up supplier credits to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Coordinating returns, discrepancies, and missing items with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Assisting with monthly stocktakes and inventory audits.
  • Maintaining clean, organised, and compliant storage areas, loading docks, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Coordinating the collection and return of supplier crates and containers.
