Position Summary

The Pool & Beach Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s swimming pool and beach facilities, ensuring exceptional guest service, high standards of cleanliness, and strict compliance with health and safety regulations. The position supervises pool and beach attendants, coordinates daily operations, monitors facilities and equipment, and ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the swimming pool and beach areas.
• Lead, motivate, train, and monitor the performance of Pool & Beach Attendants and Lifeguards.
• Ensure the pool and beach areas are clean, organized, safe, and well-presented at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool, beach, sun loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, showers, changing areas, and other facilities.
• Ensure all pool and beach equipment is properly maintained, stored, and used safely.
• Monitor pool water quality and ensure appropriate testing and recording are carried out according to hotel and regulatory standards.
• Ensure lifeguard coverage and safety procedures are maintained at all times during operating hours.
• Monitor guest activities around the pool and beach and intervene promptly when unsafe behavior is observed.
• Ensure all safety, emergency, hygiene, and operating procedures are strictly followed.
• Welcome guests, provide information about pool and beach facilities, and promote available services and activities.
• Assist guests with sun loungers, towels, umbrellas, cabanas, and other pool/beach requirements.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Recreation, and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
