The Role

The Spa & Fitness Supervisor supports the Director of Spa & Wellness in delivering exceptional wellness experiences that exceed guest expectations in line with Mandarin Oriental’s Legendary Quality Experiences (LQE), MOQA standards, and Spa & Wellness brand standards. This role is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Spa Reception, Retail, Fitness Centre, Swimming Pool, and wellness facilities, ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, safety compliance, colleague engagement, and revenue generation. The Spa & Fitness Supervisor serves as the operational lead for the department and supports the Director of Spa & Wellness in achieving departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Support the Director of Spa & Wellness in implementing and maintaining LQE, MOQA, and Spa & Wellness standards across all guest touchpoints.
• Oversee the daily operation of Spa Reception, Retail, Fitness Centre, Swimming Pool, and wellness facilities.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and service quality, proactively addressing guest feedback, concerns, and special requests.
• Conduct daily departmental briefings and communicate operational priorities, promotions, wellness initiatives, and service standards.
• Ensure all Spa & Wellness facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and operationally ready condition at all times.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain effective communication across all Spa & Wellness functions.

Fitness & Pool Operations

• Supervise Fitness Instructors, Lifeguards, Pool Attendants, Spa Attendants, and Spa Concierge colleagues.
