We are seeking an exceptional Pastry Chef de Partie to join the pre-opening culinary team of Delano London. Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef, Sous Chef and Pastry leadership, you’ll take responsibility for your pastry section, delivering refined, consistent and beautifully presented desserts, pastries and baked items. You’ll lead by example, support the development of the pastry team and help create memorable experiences across the hotel’s dining outlets and events.

What you’ll do…

• Take ownership of your assigned pastry section, ensuring all preparations and service are delivered to the required Delano London standards.
• Produce pastries, desserts, baked goods, creams, custards, doughs, chocolates and other pastry preparations in line with recipes and specifications.
• Support the Pastry Sous Chef and senior kitchen team with daily production, service, events, afternoon tea, room service and other hotel requirements.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, precision, consistency and portion control across all pastry items.
• Organise mise en place efficiently, prioritising tasks according to service requirements and communicating clearly with the pastry team.
• Guide and support Demi Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs and trainees working within your section.
• Follow all food safety, allergen, hygiene, storage, labelling and temperature-control procedures.
