And now, we’re looking for an experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to assist in leading the engine room behind it all.

As Assistant Chief Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the Hotel’s maintenance operations, ensuring our iconic luxury property continues to deliver exceptional standards across all guest-facing and back-of-house areas.

Working closely with the Chief Engineer, you will act as the department’s second-in-command, helping lead a skilled engineering team while overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, safety, compliance and asset management of the hotel.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Supporting the Chief Engineer in leading the Engineering department and daily operations across the hotel.
• Overseeing preventative maintenance programs and the performance of building services, plant and equipment.
• Leading, coaching and developing the engineering team while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Managing maintenance priorities, contractor works and compliance requirements to the highest standard.
• Supporting capital projects, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Working closely with operational departments to ensure a seamless luxury guest experience.
• Acting as the department leader in the absence of the Chief Engineer and providing hands-on technical support when required.
