Assistant General Manager

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Premier Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

• Experience in hotel or hospitality operations management, preferably in an extended-stay or select-service environment.
• Strong leadership abilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management skills.
• Proficiency in guest service, conflict resolution, and effective communication with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, revenue management, and cost control in a hotel or service-focused setting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with hotel property management systems and common office software; willingness to learn new tools as needed.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in hospitality or a similar customer-facing industry is highly beneficial.
