This position plays a hands-on role during pre-opening build-out, then transition into a dynamic support leader, ensuring our systems deliver seamless, high-performance experiences for our Faena New York guests and staff.

This position has an annual compensation of $95,000.

Pre-Opening Deployment & Readiness

  • System Implementation: Assist in installing and configuring Opera (PMS), SilverWare (POS), PBX/VoIP, IPTV, and enterprise Wi-Fi networks.
  • Infrastructure Validation: Audit LAN/WAN, VLAN segmentation, and network security; coordinate failover, backup-power and redundancy plans.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage on-site deliveries, installations, and SLAs with Cisco, Mitel, Siemens, and other technology partners.
  • User Acceptance & Training: Lead UAT cycles; create SOPs, quick-reference guides, and hands-on training modules for front desk, F&B, and housekeeping teams.

Day-to-Day Operations & Support

  • Technical Support: Provide prompt resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues—minimizing disruption to guest services.
  • Maintenance & Compliance: Oversee patch management, antivirus, intrusion detection, and data-privacy protocols in line with brand and legal standards.
  • Asset Management: Maintain an accurate IT inventory; coordinate repairs, upgrades, and equipment replacements lifecycle.

Guest-Experience & Innovation

  • Guest-Facing Technology: Troubleshoot contactless check-in kiosks, mobile-key integrations, in-room entertainment systems, and smart-room controls with discretion.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and pilot new technologies (IoT, advanced streaming, digital signage) that elevate the Faena experience.
