Bell Coordinator

The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club is looking for a Bell Coordinator (Seasonal) to join the team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dan

a Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California’s surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

  • Classification: Seasonal (Mid-May to September)
  • Shift: AM and PM availability required – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

         Pay: $20 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Bell Coordinator, you would be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist the Resort Guest Services bell team with response to in house communications as needed.  Examples include follow up on guest requests, dispatching bellperson team members and taking calls.
  • Assist in house guests with arrival and departure arrangements as needed ensuring various options are always provided to anticipate their needs.  This may include dining, transportation, amenities and gift deliveries.
  • Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with guests, members and other team members in person and on the telephone.  Ability to work well with other departments to deliver your guest’s requests is key to success in this role.
  • Proficient computer skills that will ensure reservations will be made in a timely, efficient and error free manner
  • Respond and take ownership to all guest inquiries immediately.  Handle guest complaints to the best of your ability.
