Chef de Partie

Overlooking the scenic South China Sea, an hour away by ferry from Singapore, Mövenpick  Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will introduce Swiss-inspired hospitality to Bintan in celebration of Mövenpick’s rich culinary legacy. • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your section, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
• Ensure all ingredients and mise en place are prepared in line with service requirements
• Follow recipes, preparation methods, and portion controls accurately
• Maintain excellent standards of food quality, freshness, flavour, and presentation
• Ensure all food is handled, stored, and prepared in line with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked workstation
• Monitor stock levels, support stock rotation, and minimise food waste
• Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver seamless service
• Support and guide junior members of the kitchen team when required
• Contribute to menu development and the introduction of new dishes where appropriate
• Maintain a calm, organised, and professional approach during busy services

• Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a Japanese kitchen
• Strong cooking skills and a good understanding of kitchen operations
• A passion for food, quality ingredients, and delivering consistently high standards
