As an Chief Accountant, you’re not just supporting timely and supervision of the Hotel Finance Office, pertaining to all computerized accounting systems, month-end closing reports and general ledger
reconciliation.– you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review problematic accounts. Direct staff in follow[1]up of accounts.
• In the absence of the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance, oversee staff and ensure all reports are processed promptly such as month-end closing reports, monthly forecast and variance reports and visually review for accuracy.
• Control and track inventories of Hotel’s operational, departmental and team member meal budgets.
• Work with Assistant Director of Finance and assist in the supervision of Hotel Finance Office staff, assigning tasks and giving guidance, monitoring accuracy.
• Assist Hotel’s Front Office management staff in interfacing front office and back office Micros/Point of Sale systems and troubleshoot complications.
• Calculate and produce daily deposit transmittals for checks received.
• Conduct monthly payroll audits, issue all paychecks.
