• Oversee the daily operations of the engineering department, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure the property’s facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition.
• Manage, supervise, and mentor the engineering team.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all systems and equipment.
• Monitor and control departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Perform regular inspections of the property’s mechanical systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering on long-term projects, such as renovations and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with local safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide training to engineering staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or similar role in the hospitality industry or commercial facilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
• Certification in engineering or facilities management is a plus.
• Must be fluent in Thai.
