Communications Ambassador

Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Communications Ambassador to join the Front Office Team at this gorgeous Atlanta property!

Located in one of Atlanta’s most prestigious neighborhoods, this 42-story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, a 15,000 square feet Spa & Wellness experience, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

The Communications Ambassador will be responsible for answering and responding to internal and external calls, as well as to answer general questions regarding local entertainment, hotel hours of operation, services and facilities, hotel activations and assisting with hotel reservations including room reservations, restaurant, and Spa reservations.

• Classification: Full-Time
• Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

• Answering hotel’s main telephone number and connecting guests and Team Members to the correct telephone extension
• Greeting all callers with a warm and sincere greeting and utilizing the guest name when known
• Anticipating and recognizing individual guest needs
• Passing on requests in a timely and accurate manner to appropriate Team Members
• Delivering personalized wake-up calls within two minutes of agreed upon time in a clear and pleasant voice
• Attend daily shift line ups at the Front Office
• Execute all breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea reservations for the Café.
