Conference & Events Sales Manager

Pullman Sydney Airport is located in the heart of Mascot Business Park and only a short walk from Mascot train station. The 5-star hotel features 229 contemporary rooms and suites, Mobius Bar & Grill, and premium conference and events facilities designed for creative thinkers and modern business travellers.

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Conference & Events Sales Manager to join our team on a Part Time basis (0.8 FTE) for 10 -12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will play a key role in driving conference and events sales while ensuring seamless event coordination and exceptional guest experiences.

 

Job Description

 

  • Drive conference and events sales to achieve monthly conversion targets
  • Prepare quotations and proposals for conferences, meetings, and events
  • Coordinate events from enquiry through to execution
  • Liaise closely with operational departments to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through strategic planning and upselling
  • Maintain a strong onsite presence to support clients and operations as required

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in Hotel Conference & Events Sales
  • Experience with Delphi and Opera preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Positive, motivated, and outgoing personality
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to work onsite
