The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
The Hotel Controller is responsible for overseeing and directing all financial and accounting operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management. This position serves as a key business partner to the General Manager, department leaders, and ownership by providing financial guidance, analysis, and recommendations that support the hotel’s overall financial performance and operational objectives.
The Controller ensures that all accounting functions are performed accurately and timely in accordance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee the hotel’s daily accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, payroll accounting, and month-end closing.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and supporting schedules.
