CUISINE COMMIS

MISSION : Participates in the preparation/regeneration and presentation of food produced in the kitchen where assigned, through the efficient performance of duties, complying at all times with quality standards and established recipes for each of the dishes requested, paying special attention to creativity, composition, seasoning and presentation to ensure the satisfaction of guests and clients, obtaining their recognition and preference for the Hotel’s food.

Job description:

  • Prepare ingredients according to the chef’s instructions (peele, cut, measure, weigh, etc.).
  • Assist in the preparation of dishes under direct supervision.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations.
  • Comply with hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Store food properly and check expiration dates.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
  • Participate in the general cleaning of the kitchen at the end of the shift.

 

Requirements:

  • Basic training in cooking or gastronomy (desirable).
  • Previous experience in cooking (not essential, but valued).
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude, punctuality and willingness to learn.
