Demi Chef de Rang – Banquet

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Prepare event setup operations: Execute mise en place and back-of-house duties including cleanliness, dishwashing, restocking supplies, and organizing linens, beverages, and equipment
• Set up and dismantle event spaces: Arrange, convert, and break down meeting and function rooms, including handling of convertible rooms and additional equipment such as stages and dance floors
• Coordinate catering arrangements: Set up coffee breaks, lunches, and other catering services according to event requirements
• Maintain event readiness: Refresh and prepare event spaces before and during functions to ensure a professional environment
• Deliver event service support: Provide guest service during events including beverage service, buffet and plated service, cash bar operations, billing, and covering the business center when required
• Handle operational coordination and documentation: Manage package handling with relevant departments, interpret key event documents (BEOs, daily worksheets, setup plans), and maintain change logs and internal checklists
