The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Job Summary:

• Implement company programs (brand and Management Company) and manage the operational departments to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel customers.
• Prepare forecasts and reports and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints; anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints, operational issues, business flow and Associate performance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
• Manage the human resources in the department in order to attract, retain and motivate the Associates; hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication vehicles, discipline and terminate, as appropriate.https://careers.marriott.com/director-of-rooms/job/75DCA07D49AFB147A1512C02D7D3BB29
