As a Dry Cleaner with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every Guest, ensuring garments and linen are properly washed. The luxury our Guests experience will ensure their return.

What you will be doing:   

Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
• Sort soiled linen, label and make ready for pick up
• Wash and Dry clean all uniforms, guest laundry and other’s personal items.
• Ensuring hotel standards are maintained within the Valet area.
• Liaising with the Staff Services department to ensure quality and quantity of uniforms are being met in accordance to departmental and hotel needs.
• Providing courteous and professional service at all times to all guests, contracts and colleagues.
• Ensure the completion of task checklist by the end of each shift
• Follow the garment care instructions on dry cleaning labels
• Verify that all payments for non-hotel guests and staff are processed and completed accurately
• Must be flexible in regard to work schedules (weekends and holidays as required)
• Assisting with all daily duties including receiving all garments, cleaning and maintaining the Dry cleaner machine
• Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department

• Other duties as assigned
