  • Maintain, Repair, Check and Record equipment such as (but not limited to):
  • Guest Facilities
  • Plant Rooms
  • Electrical LV Panels and Switchboards
  • Lighting System
  • AV System
  • Fire System
  • Kitchen Equipment
  • Controls
  • Motors & Pumps
  • Guest Room Fit Out
  • Plumbing/Drainage
  • HVAC system
  • Ensures that updated records are maintained for all equipment in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and that the equipment is marked accordingly.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance work orders and ensures that completed tasks are entered in to the records.
  • Report to Electrical Foreman or related Supervisors if corrective work orders as required.
  • Follows up on pending preventive and corrective work orders with the concerned Supervisors.
  • Coordinates closely with the Electrical Foreman to ensure that the preventive maintenance program is working with a minimum interference to all occupants of the building.
  • Contributes with ideas in finding solutions for daily operational issues within the complete Engineering Department.
  • Notifies the Duty Engineer of any irregularities to plant and equipment or abuse of engineering equipment by other Hotel staff.
  • Maintains proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.
  • Work closely with Duty Engineer in order to maintain highest standards to the room and related engineering systems
  • Personal presentation will be clean, neat and tidy at all times.
  • Being courteous, professional and service orientated when dealing with Guest and colleagues.
  • Assists Guests and colleagues when appropriate.
  • Undertakes specific duties and projects when assigned.
  • Supports and attend actively all Training Programs.
  • Familiarizes him-/herself with the technical details of all Plant and Services relating to the Hotel.
