Job Objective:
Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the reception area, ensuring efficient, friendly and high-quality service to guests, guaranteeing compliance with the standards established by the company.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise the reception team, assigning tasks and shifts according to the operation.
- Ensure an efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Provide direct service to VIP guests or in special situations.
- Handle complaints and claims, providing timely and satisfactory solutions.
- Verify that the hotel’s procedures and policies are being followed.
- Review daily reports of occupancy, income, and movements.
- Train and evaluate reception staff.
- Control the correct management of reservations and availability.
- Ensure the presentation, order and cleanliness of the reception area.
Requirements:
- Training in Hospitality, Tourism, Administration or related fields.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in reception, with at least 1 year in supervision.
- Mastery of hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Intermediate/advanced level of English (other languages valued).
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
