𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Royal Davui Island Resort, Beqa Lagoon, Fiji

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘:
Royal Davui Island Resort is seeking an exceptional hospitality management couple to lead the day-to-day operation of our luxury private island resort in Fiji.

Royal Davui is an intimate, adults-only private island resort with just 16 villas, approximately 60 employees and a highly personalised style of service.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership appointment for two experienced hospitality professionals who are comfortable taking genuine responsibility for the whole operation.

Royal Davui is deliberately small and operationally independent. There is no large corporate structure behind the management team and no layers between management and the operation.

The successful couple will be highly visible across the island, close to both guests and team members, and fully engaged in the daily running of the resort.

𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing, service-driven resort team.
• Oversee all aspects of the operation including Rooms, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Guest Experience, Activities, Engineering and Logistics.
• Maintain exceptional standards of personalised luxury service.
• Drive operational efficiency, cost control and commercial performance.
• Ensure strong communication and coordination across all departments.
• Maintain a highly visible management presence with guests and employees.
• Respond decisively to operational issues and maintain consistently high standards throughout the resort.

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 & 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄:
• At least one partner must have genuine senior whole-property hotel, resort or lodge leadership experience.
• Experience as a General Manager, Resort Manager, Lodge Manager, Hotel Manager or similarly senior operational leader is strongly preferred.
• The second partner must also bring meaningful professional expertise to the operation, ideally across Food & Beverage, Rooms, Guest Experience, Finance, HR, Engineering or Resort Operations.
• Previous experience in luxury resorts, lodges, remote properties or island environments will be highly regarded.
• Strong leadership, communication and commercial skills are essential.
• Applicants must have a genuine commitment to hands-on operational management and long-term island living.

This is not an entry-level opportunity for couples wishing to move into resort management.
