Job Description

 

You represent Fairmont Century Plaza with professionalism, confidence, and a strong sense of ownership. Entrusted with oversight of the guest experience, you proactively anticipate needs, resolve challenges with sound judgment, and ensure that every guest encounter exceeds expectations.

What you will be doing:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure the overall safety and Guest Safety Supervisor of the hotel guests, Colleagues and
    hotel premises.
  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident,
    safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
  • Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy are investigated and reported
  • Respond to all emergency situations and provide First Aid and CPR as required
  • Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
  • Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis
    situations
  • Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
  • Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records
  • Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain Guest Safety Supervisor Office Standards of conduct
  • Ensure all Guest Safety Department staff are adhering to Fairmont Policy
  • Review reports, conduct daily audits of keys, radios and daily activity logs.
  • Ensure all Guest Safety monthly task are completed
  • Assist Security Leadership team on process and SOP suggestions / development
  • Assist with ensuring Officers are performing all assigned tasks as required or requested.
