Led by General Manager & Vice President Operations WA & TAS, Nathan Frost, who was recently inducted into the AHA WA Accommodation Industry Hall of Fame, our hotel continues to set the benchmark for excellence in Western Australia’s hospitality landscape.

We are now seeking an experienced and inspiring Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and continue to elevate our culinary offering in Miss Mi.

 

Job Description

 

Reporting to our Director of Food & Beverage, this is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, driving quality and consistency, and delivering a contemporary, guest-focused food experience.

You will take full ownership of the kitchen, leading from the front and setting the standard across all areas of food production. Your focus will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse kitchen brigade
  • Driving consistency, quality, and presentation across all outlets and events
  • Delivering a modern, contemporary Asian-inspired culinary offering
  • Managing food cost, stock control, and supplier relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and brand standards
  • Collaborating with the leadership team on menus, activations, and guest experience
  • Supporting the delivery of conferences, events, and high-volume service periods
