Housekeeping Coordinator

• Coordinate the daily activities of the Housekeeping department and ensure smooth communication within the team.
• Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status, room priorities, and guest requests.
• Prepare and update daily room status reports and housekeeping assignments.
• Follow up on room readiness and ensure rooms are released on time.
• Receive and coordinate guest requests related to Housekeeping and ensure timely follow-up.
• Communicate maintenance issues and room defects to the relevant department and follow up on completion.
• Monitor and maintain records of housekeeping supplies, linen, guest amenities, and equipment.
• Coordinate linen and uniform requirements with the relevant teams.
• Maintain proper records and documentation related to Housekeeping operations.
• Ensure lost and found items are recorded, handled, and stored according to hotel procedures.
• Assist the Housekeeping management team with daily reports, administrative tasks, and departmental requirements.
• Support the coordination of team member schedules, attendance, and daily operational requirements.
• Communicate important updates and instructions to Housekeeping team members.
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards, health and safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
• Assist in maintaining effective communication between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping or hotel operations role.
