Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Houseperson will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department.

• The Housekeeping Houseperson will assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
• Practice safety standards at all times
• Deliver linens and other supplies to room attendants and closets.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas.
• Respond to guests’ requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clean other designated areas such as public restroom, fixtures, vending areas, and storage areas.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
• Collect items for recycling.
• Maintain the cleanliness of guest corridor areas.
• Responsible for picking up of soiled linen and trash from closets and disposing/sorting accordingly
• House Attendant will assist with cleaning and shampooing of guest room carpets as well as corridor carpets
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
