HR/PAYROLL COORDINATOR

Job mission

Provide support to the HR Manager in all activities related to people management, adhering to corporate policies and tools. Ensure an excellent experience for employees and candidates throughout the entire employment cycle, guaranteeing rigorous and efficient administrative management aligned with the company culture.

 Main Responsibilities:

Personnel Administration

  • Manage all contractual movements on the HR platform: new hires, rehires, terminations, extensions, data changes and organizational movements.
  • Verify the correct execution of the actions recorded in the system.
  • Enter and control monthly payroll supplements, including court-ordered withholdings.
  • Update employee profile information (family members, disability, bank details, addresses) with the corresponding documentation.
  • Register and monitor absenteeism processes, ensuring proper documentation.

Care and Support for Individuals

  • Respond to information requests from collaborators, HoD and external personnel (associations, training centers, temporary employment agencies, etc.).
  • Offer personalized support to employees (questions, concerns, documentation, references, corporate information).
  • Keep internal and external notice boards up to date.

Climate, Culture & Employee Experience

  • Conduct periodic inspections of personnel areas using checklists, delivering a report to the HR Manager and Management.
  • Participate in labor dispute investigation processes in accordance with local legislation.
  • Manage and supervise the correct use, maintenance and coexistence in staff accommodations, guaranteeing quality and well-being standards.

Occupational Risk Prevention

  • Provide occupational risk prevention documentation to new employees and ensure its proper registration and filing.
  • Coordinate training activities in prevention with external companies and keep the documentation up to date.
  • Ensure that accident investigations are carried out and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Verify the hotel’s compliance with prevention measures:
    • Update to the Prevention Plan
    • Chemical Safety Data Sheets
    • Preventive documentation for contractors
    • Organization of drills
    • Review and replenishment of first aid kits

We are looking for a person with a passion for people management , a keen eye for detail, and a strong service orientation. We seek a proactive, organized individual who is sensitive to the employee experience, capable of managing administrative processes rigorously while also providing a friendly and professional approach.

  • At least 1 year of experience in similar positions within HR, especially in areas of personnel administration, payroll, contract management or employee services.
  • Previous experience in the hotel sector or companies with a large number of employees.
  • Training relevant to and appropriate for the position.
  • Practical knowledge of personnel administration processes and current labor regulations.
  • Attention to detail and administrative rigor.
  • Effective communication, both with collaborators and with managers and suppliers.
  • Organization and time management in dynamic environments.
  • Proactive, collaborative attitude focused on service and employee experience.
