About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Security & Hygiene Department, the Security & Hygiene Coordinator is responsible for the administration and management of departmental documentation and filing system, payroll and rostering system, maintaining staff records and assisting with HR related tasks. In addition, he or she will also be prepared to undergo training relating to the Food Safety compliance of the Hotel. He or she will understand and comply with the Hotel’s requirements of FLHSSE, Food Safety, complies with the local Municipality rules and regulation, periodic certification renewal. The Security & Hygiene Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Hygiene.

As Security & Hygiene Coordinator, we expect you to: 

• possess strong operational and administrative skills, including the ability to work long and flexible hours with a strong focus on hygiene operations.
• be highly organized, capable of effectively supporting and motivating diverse teams, and experienced in utilizing documented performance management systems.
• demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• have advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office or equivalent applications, would be advantageous.
• possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication styles to different individuals and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and senior management.
• have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, while proficiency in Arabic or other languages would be preferred.
• have the ability to oversee large and complex operational areas
